Owner
Mine Safety Compliance, PLLC
Matthew Jaynes, P.E.
I founded Mine Safety Compliance, PLLC (MSC) with a straightforward mission: to use my experience to keep miners safe and our local operations running smoothly. With over 20+ years in the mining industry specializing in underground ventilation and mine design planning, and a decade spent as an MSHA Inspector and Supervisor for surface and underground mines, I’ve seen the industry from both sides of the clipboard. I know that compliance isn’t just about paperwork—it’s about the people on the ground and the reality of the job site.
As a Licensed Mechanical P.E., I bring an analytical, problem-solving mindset to complex site challenges. This background allows me to dive deeper into the technical aspects of your operation, offering more than just a standard safety check. Whether I’m conducting mock inspections or providing high-level technical advising, I’m focused on being a reliable partner for your team.
Based in Helena, Montana, I specialize in helping operators navigate the complexities of MSHA 30 CFR Part 46 and Part 48 and ATF 27 CFR Part 555 standards. From sand and gravel pits to underground hard rock mines, I provide tailored, field-oriented consulting services. My goal is to help you build a culture of safety that is as robust and resilient as the mines we work in.
